Our Client is a packaging manufacturer; they are looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage an existing portfolio of accounts to sell packaging solutions in the Midlands region.
Reporting to the Sales Director the emphasis will be on managing a portfolio of blue chip accounts whilst identifying, approaching and developing new accounts, working closely with their customers to provide support and cost effective solutions to their packaging needs-in conjunction with the internal sales/product development team.
It is essential you have Packaging sales experience and a strong knowledge of the geographical area base within the Midlands. Most important is the ability and experience to manage large multi sited accounts providing technical value solutions in conjunction with working with clients on tenders.
The successful candidate will have some experience of handling new business development projects with customers. He/she will be results driven have sound communication and business handling skills combined with a high degree of commercial acumen and drive to achieve targets.
You will receive a high end basic salary depending on experience with an achievable bonus structure, company car, pension scheme etc
