Our client is a manufacturer of Corrugated Packaging solutions and they are looking for an Area Sales Manager for the Midlands region to manage and develop an existing account base and develop new business opportunities.
You will be responsible for selling corrugated packaging solutions, to existing customers and also identifying, approaching and winning new customers. This is a field sales role, with a strong focus on developing new business opportunities. You will report directly to the Sales Manager and will be selling into a vast range of manufacturing businesses; delivering sales presentations to both new and existing accounts. You will also be responsible for the implementation of business plans for your region.
You must have previous experience of selling corrugated packaging and be able to demonstrate the ability to offer cost effective packaging solutions as part of this role.

You are enthusiastic, hardworking, have a positive attitude and build relationships quickly and naturally with people at all levels. You are a strong closer, an excellent communicator with good presentation and negotiating skills. You fit well within a team and also work well independently.
You will receive a basic salary of circa £35-£40k (negotiable), along with a company car, contributory pension scheme and 25 holidays.
