Our client is a global provider of protective packaging solutions.  We are currently working in partnership with our client to source an Area Sales Manager, Scandinavia.  You will be responsible for covering the Northern region of Sweden selling a portfolio of paper based and flexible packaging solutions into a wide range of sectors.

 

Main Responsibilities

Adherence to our clients Vision & Guidelines, communication concepts and the strategy and mission

Select effective and reputable distributors to service target markets and provide support through training, sales visits and lead generation

To maintain a good relationship with existing customers as well as set up direct business with new customers

Develop and implement regional sales strategy and appropriate marketing   

Keep a close eye on market developments, analyze market trends and develop/implement special sales programs (promotion)

Communicate and coordinate with other departments within the company

Ensure adherence to CRM practices by and updates

Represent the Company at conferences, trade shows and networking events

Support of overseas colleagues with customer visits and training

Monthly reporting on key activities within the region and product group.

Meet revenue and gross margin targets for the region

 

Skills, Experience & Profile

Ideally educated to Degree level

At least 5 years sales experience

Fluent in written and spoken English

Demonstrated results in business development, acquisition of new accounts.

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at senior/executive levels of the customer organisation.

Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

Conversant with SAP, CRM & Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to travel in across Scandinavia, UK and occasionally Europe

Fluent in written and spoken English

You are accustomed to meeting Sales Goals, have strong negotiation skills, selling to customer needs, with a high motivation for securing sales.  You are an effective sales planner, building relationships naturally, and have an in-depth knowledge of the market

You will receive a high basic salary in line with your experience, bonus, company car etc
