Cloud 9 have fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a global leader in innovative, EOL packaging machinery and consumables. This is a home-based/remote working role covering Germany, and Northern Austria where your focus will be in managing a portfolio of existing accounts and generating new business. We are keen to hear from candidates with at least 2 years’ account management experience in a B2B environment, packaging machinery sales is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
Build an area sales plan setting out sales targets and strategies for that area, identifying steps to meet targets.
Develop the annual sales and account plans focusing on growth and development of existing and prospective new customers.
Outline opportunities for cross-selling and upselling company products and solutions.
Execute sales plans, taking corrective action in the event of deviations.
Contribute, advise and assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns.
Develop and manage business relationships within assigned region promoting company image.
Be first point of contact for assigned accounts and guide routine customer issues i.e. pricing, warranties and insurance.
Analyse current and future needs of customers, identifying the best solutions for their packaging requirements.
Make projections for product management, engineering and supply chain, managing all aspects of communication to the customer in a timely manner, liaising also with all departments on production introductions and changes.
Work closely with colleagues in the technical team to develop and implement best integrations to optimise packaging processes.
Prepare accurate current market analyses to include key target opportunities, market research and current trends.
Identify and provide new market opportunities to product management.
Regularly update company CRM database ensuring all records are accurate.
Complete and provide monthly business reviews.
Skills and Experience
2-5 years account manager experience in a B2B environment.
Packaging machinery and consumables sales preferable.
Knowledge of selling through distribution networks.
Consultative approach.
Proven experience in establishing value added sales processes.
Entrepreneurial and inspirational.
Confident relationship builder.
Excellent communication skills, preferably in an international environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
Extremely organised.
Computer literate; Microsoft Office.
Team player but can also work independently.
Remuneration
€80-85 plus attractive bonus scheme, company car, laptop etc.
