Cloud 9 are working with a UK & European leading provider of Packaging solutions who are looking to add to their team by the appointment of a Business Development Manager for the UK.
We are keen to speak with experience Packaging Distribution field sales professionals who can demonstrate longevity throughout their career and who are looking to join a forward thinking, progressive and successful business with an open and friendly culture.
Due to the nature of this position a Full driving license is essential.
Your main focus will be to identify and approach new business opportunities on either a regional or national basis, and developing these opportunities to their full potential. Selling our clients extensive and constantly growing portfolio of Packaging products, you are an expert in supplying packaging solutions for key customers.
Appointment reports are maintained during client visits and submitted weekly
KPI forms submitted on a weekly basis
Appointments are attended punctually
Delivering quotations and tenders within an acceptable and agreed timeframe

Skills & Experience
You must have experience in a face to face sales environment having worked within the Packaging consumables industry ideally with knowledge of Corrugated, flexible packaging, tapes etc, strong relationship builder with people at all levels, work as part of a team and be organised.
You have a "hunter" style mentality and can demonstrate success in your career to date at securing new business opportunities.
You will receive excellent internal support including appointment setting with key business leads to win and secure new business to achieve your Sales Budget objectives.
You will also benefit from a full induction and training program over 3 months to ensure you are fully compliant with Company procedures and expectations.
You will receive a high basic salary in line with your experience (Negotiable) with an uncapped commission structured, company car etc
