The Role

Your main focus on finding new business opportunities; selling a high-end range of Corrugated Packaging solutions into a comprehensive range of sectors including but not exclusively into Food, Drink, Confectionery, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Homewares.  Working closely with the internal sales, design, and production departments you will be a key member of the Sales team. 

Your Responsibilities

Implement the agreed sales strategy, by developing profitable sales within the UK.

Target and win profitable new business, in line with the agreed sales strategy.

Submit sales reporting in the set formats, to the agreed standards and within the set time periods.

Adhere to all company procedures in respect of customer contracts and agreements pertaining to stock, price, origination, and any other identified commercial aspects.

Provide market analysis (including competitor activity and market trends) as required to support strategic business development.

Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the geographic sales territory, the key users, and their relevant market sectors to identify and exploit profitable new business opportunities.

Project manage the introduction of new customers into the business ensuring their effective handover to the internal customer service teams.

Provide accurate short, medium- and long-term forecasts as necessary to support business planning activities.

The Person

You must have experience of selling corrugated packaging solutions coupled with strong new business development skills.  You build relationships quickly with people at all levels and are commercially aware, being able to negotiate in a confident manner, closing sales and ensuring repeat business.  You have experience of working with Blue Chip organisations and have a natural creative flair. 

It would be a distinct advantage if you have experience and knowledge of print such as Litho, Screen, Flexo, HQPP, etc.

You will receive a high-end basic salary as expected with this calibre of position, which is negotiable based on your experience, bonus structure, company car, home office etc.
