Cloud 9 are working with a UK & European leading provider of Packaging solutions who are looking to add to their open and friendly team by the appointment of a Business Development Manager for the UK.

The Role
Your main focus will be to identify and approach new business opportunities on either a regional or national basis and developing these opportunities to their full potential.  Selling our clients extensive and constantly growing portfolio of Packaging products, you are an expert in supplying packaging solutions for key customers.  You will also have responsibility for managing a well-established portfolio of customers.

Other Responsibilities
Maintain appointment reports during client visits which are submitted weekly
Submit KPI forms on a weekly basis
Attend appointments punctually
Deliver quotations and tenders within an acceptable and agreed timeframe
Work closely with other departments building relationships and encouraging team success

MS PowerPoint 07
MS Excel, Word & Outlook 07
CRM Database

Skills & Experience
You must have experience in a face-to-face sales environment having worked within the Packaging industry, ideally within a Distribution business and with knowledge of Corrugated, flexible packaging, tapes etc.
You are a solutions seller, personable and customer service driven.
You must be able to demonstrate a talent for building strong relationships with people at all levels
You must be able to work as part of a team and be organised
You will have a "hunter" style mentality and can demonstrate success in your career to date at securing new business opportunities
You will hold a valid UK Driving Licence

In return you will:
Receive excellent internal support including appointment setting with key business leads to win and secure new business to achieve your Sales Budget objectives.
Benefit from a full induction and training program over 3 months to ensure you are fully compliant with Company procedures and expectations.


Remuneration
You will receive a high end basic salary in line with your experience with a bonus and an uncapped commission structured, plus company car etc.
