Your role will be primarily to source and win new business opportunities. You will be responsible for visiting mainly new but some existing clients, ensuring day to day customer expectations and requirements are met, generating call reports, monthly forecasting and working closely with the Directors, Internal Sales and the Design Department. You will be required to maximise existing and new business opportunities by providing customers with advice and innovative packaging solutions to their needs. Selling a full range of comprehensive packaging products such as corrugated boxes, cartons, flexible packaging, tapes, bubble, strapping and packaging machinery you will be the key contact for developing and growing new business in the geographical area outlined. You will be provided with a strong internal support structure in order for you to succeed in the role.
You must have experience of selling packaging products and be able to demonstrate a flair for identifying approaching and winning new business. You are a "packaging solution" provider and build strong, long-term relationships with people at all levels with ease. You are honest, hardworking, positive, tenacious, enthusiastic, motivated and keen to succeed in this role.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Experience of a packaging distribution or corrugated packaging environment
* Strong business development and Selling skills
* Communication/presentation skills
* Negotiation skills
* Product knowledge
* Commercial awareness
* PC skills (including: Powerpoint/Excel/Word)
* Adhere to all company procedures in respect of customer contracts and agreements
* Provide market analysis (including competitor activity and market trends) as required
