Cloud 9 are working with a well-invested, independent packaging company who are looking to add to their sales team by the appoint a Business Development Manager in the Midlands. This is a home-based 100% new business role where you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities. We are looking for experienced sales professionals with strong negotiation and closing skills and project management experience. If this sounds of interest, please read the brief below:
Key Responsibilities
Identify, source and secure new business by following generated leads and promoting the company’s extensive catalogue of products.
Develop a strong knowledge of company products and packaging solutions.
Provide a high-level of customer service at all times.
Identify possible client companies and build strong and trusted relationships with key decision makers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Prepare proposals, quotations and closing deals.
Manage your own diary, approaches, pitches and sales presentations.
Follow up all leads, quotes and enquiries using CRM system maintaining strong sales administration at all times.
Attend monthly onsite sales meetings.
The Person
An experienced salesperson within the packaging industry, preferably with carton experience but other sectors considered.
Ability to demonstrate a successful new business record.
Project management experience.
A strong negotiator and confident in securing new business.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
A relationship builder.
Motivated by providing a first-rate customer experience.
Strong team player who can also work independently.
Results and success-driven
Excellent IT skills.
Remuneration
You will receive a salary of up to £60k DOE plus an excellent OTE commission structure, a profit-based bonus, along with attractive incentives.
