Your new role is a good split of new business development and account management, bringing new opportunities and repeat business into the company. Key Responsibilities
Using a hands-on approach to identify and win new business opportunities, developing your region to reach target expectations.
Attend prospective customers in negotiation and presentation, developing a good understanding of their needs and requirements.
Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, identifying new opportunities within those accounts to maximise repeat business.
Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure future profitability into the company.
Maintain sales pipeline and ensure yearly volume budget is achieved.
Fulfil established objectives in a timely manner.
Provide monthly activity reports.
Regularly liaise with colleagues in various departments to ensure a high level of service is delivered.
The Person
A proven sales professional with experience within the corrugated sheet plant/timber sector of the packaging industry.
Demonstrable successful history of winning new business and developing a region.
Experience with key account management.
Excellent technical and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and dynamic.
Have a can-do and hands-on attitude.
Hold a full driving license.
Remuneration
You will receive a salary of up to £60k DOE, plus company car, pension and attractive bonus scheme.
