Cloud 9 are working with one of the great leaders in packaging solutions who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager for the East Midlands! This is a home-based role where your main focus will be on sourcing and identifying new business opportunities, while managing and developing an existing portfolio of accounts. You will have proven field sales experience, ideally within the packaging arena, and able to demonstrate a successful record of new business development. Please read the brief below for more details:
Key Responsibilities
Strong focus on sourcing, identifying and winning new business into the company.
Managing and developing an existing portfolio of accounts.
Building and developing new and existing opportunities, cross-selling where possible.
Building strong and trusted customer relationships, dealing with any issues in a professional and speedy manner.
To provide a high-level of customer service at all times.
Maintaining, updating and sharing sales pipeline.
To provide detailed monthly activity and sales reports.
Be proactive in promoting and marketing company products and services.
Be a proactive attendee in one-to-one meetings.
Attend exhibitions, conferences and events with a view to networking.
Undertake any required administration i.e. CRM maintenance and updating.
Support the company with additional activities within your designated area, if needed.
Skills and Experience
Experience within the Corrugated or Timber Packaging arena, preferable but not essential.
Based in the East Midlands.
Demonstrable successful B2B new business record.
A ‘hunter’ style approach.
Excellent technical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and dynamic.
Have a can-do and hands-on attitude.
Excellent IT skills; Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
Hold a full driving license.
Remuneration
