Cloud 9 are working with a well established and highly respected corrugated packaging company who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager based in the North West. Your main responsibility will be to identify and win new business with some account management tied in. This is a remote role where you will be required to attend the office once a week. Key Responsibilities
Identify, source and develop new business into the company.
Identify and visit potential customers and their decision-makers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Attend potential customers to discuss tailored packaging solutions, bringing new customers onboard.
Maintain and develop existing accounts, looking for new opportunities to ensure repeat business.
Develop and nurture relationships with existing customer, cross-selling where applicable.
Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
Develop a strong knowledge of company products and packaging solutions.
Follow up all leads, quotes and enquiries using CRM system maintaining strong sales administration at all times.
Skills and Experience
Experience working in the packaging industry, corrugated sheet plant preferred, but other sectors may be considered.
Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a new business development position.
Commercially astute.
Excellent presentation and closing skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Target-driven and focused with a strong desire to succeed.
Pro-active, self-motivated and results driven.
Excellent communication skills with people at all levels.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Excellent time management.
Excellent customer service skills with a desire to provide the highest customer experience.

Remuneration
You will receive a salary of up to £55K DOE with attractive sales bonus.
