Cloud 9 is working with a global leader in the packaging industry who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to cover the East Anglia region. The ideal candidate will be an experienced field sales professional who can identify and develop new business opportunities whilst managing a portfolio of blue-chip accounts. Key Responsibilities
Agree and implement a sales strategy for the region.
Through thorough research strategies identify and source new business opportunities.
Meet with key stakeholders and decision makers presenting solutions, commercials and timescales to best suit their needs.
Develop strong relationships with existing & new customers in order to best develop strategies to improve value.
Develop and nurture relationships with existing customer, cross-selling where able.
Develop an understanding of the company and customer's business models and processes.
Comply with company Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Undertake additional tasks as and when may be required.
Attend site visits and training as may be required.
Skills & Experience
At least 2 years' experience in a similar sales role within the packaging industry.
Demonstrable record of successful new business and building a territory.
Experienced in managing large blue-chip accounts.
Ability to communicate on all levels.
Strategic thinker.
Strong presentation, negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong numerical skills.
Excellent communication skills on all levels, internally and externally.
An innovative and forward thinker.
Results driven and ambitious.
Valid UK Driving Licence.
Remuneration
