Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of flexible packaging solutions by sourcing new business/customers within the retail market.
Support and expand product ranges within existing and new customer bases.
Identify new business avenues, including new markets, customers, products and services.
Assist in account management.
Create sales forecasts and strategies, actively working towards achieving set targets.
Network and build relationships through attending conferences and events.
Actively keep appraised of new market trends, products and activities.
Have a day-to-day office presence in Stevenage.
The Person
Demonstrable successful experience in B2B business development within the flexible packaging industry.
Experience selling into the retail sector would be advantageous.
An understanding of the manufacturing process, beneficial.
Demonstrable track record in account management.
Target-driven.
Excellent communication skills on all levels.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
