Business Manager

Cloud 9 have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join one of UK’s leaders in the packaging industry.  Based in the South East you will be responsible for a multimillion pound site, have P&L control of the site and help direct the sales team.  You will have excellent leadership and management skills and experience of managing a site of similar size.  If this sounds like you, please read more in the job brief below:

Key Responsibilities

Development and implementation of business plans.

Complete control of P&L and decision-making, meeting commercial and sales targets.

Assist in the management of the sales team.

Interact with key customers.

Optimise sales and profit taking into consideration the implications on profit selling stock products.

Identify new business opportunities in partnership with national accounts.

Consistently provide high level of customer service.

Comply with company policies, procedures and regulations at all times.

The Person

Experience of managing a comparable size of site where logistics, sales and purchasing operate from.

Experience working in the packaging industry would be advantageous, but not essential. Will consider similar backgrounds, e.g. FMCG, Supply Chain.

Proven track record of excellent sales management and leadership skills.

Experience working with key account customers.

High-level customer-service focused.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Remuneration

You will receive a rewarding salary circa £75k together with bonus/OTE, company car/car allowance, usual extras and a catalogue of company benefits/incentives.
