Commercial Assistant

Cloud 9 are on the lookout for a Commercial Assistant based in the Southwest to join a front leader in the packaging industry! Your main responsibility will be to support the commercial and sales teams. Part of your role will be collating accurate data, assisting in preparing quotations and tenders and identifying opportunities to improve profitability. Key Responsibilities
Provide strong support to all aspects of commercial and sales processes and their teams.
Gather all necessary information from operations, sales and design in order to prepare accurate quotations and tenders in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities to increase profitability through size adjustments, colour, quantity etc.
Aid in the preparation of tenders, responding to tenders in a timely manner.
Provide accurate and dependable data on commercial and sales results. 
Provide support in the design and performance of the company's system monitoring margins, response times, sales results, enquiries and orders etc.
Assist in budget forecasting when required.
Support company growth and improvement by developing and utilising commercial tools.
Identify ways to reduce costs and improve client profitability through data analysis. 
Provide additional analysis assistance as and when required. 
 

The Person
Experience of working within the packaging industry, preferable but not essential. Experience of working within a similar role out of the packaging industry will be considered.
Must be proficient in Excel.
A working background in a similar commercial role or customer service.
Strong commercial background.
Analytical mind.
Creative mind. 
Quick thinker with ability to deal with the complex problems efficiently and effectively.
Ability to interpret commercial data.
Strong attention to detail.
Extremely organized with an emphasis on accurate data analysis.
Adaptable.
Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to deadlines in a timely manner.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, on all levels.
A confident relationship builder.
Remuneration
You will receive a salary of up to £33k DOE.
