Cloud 9 are working with a leading and award-winning manufacturer in the packaging industry who are looking to appoint a Commercial Manager based in the North West. Being responsible for the commercial functions and development of the company, you will have a strong focus on costs, bringing value for money whilst providing a first-class customer service at all times. Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day quotations and tenders’ processes, ensuring efficiency, quality and agreed timescales are achieved.
Constantly look for improvement opportunities in the pricing process and company methods.
Manage and improve data reliability in customer feedback and tenders for future decisions.
Align company goals with pricing strategy.
Identify cost saving opportunities bringing value for money and profitability into the company.
Support company growth and improvement by the utilisation of commercial tools.
Prepare tenders for presentation to sales director and management.
Supervise the commercial and financial reporting.
Monitor margin and cost projects.
Achieve set KPIs.
Train and review reportees ensuring performance standards are always met.
The Person
Experience working within the packaging industry, is essential.
A minimum of 3 years in a similar role is required.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Financially astute.
Computer literate with ability to translate commercial and financial data.
Excellent people and communication skills.
A strong eye for detail.
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure.
