Responsibilities & Main Duties

With your knowledge and understanding of forecasts, sales figure and demands, create demand plans in conjunction with customers' needs 

Using the information to hand, predict customer demand and provide the supply chain plans to meet customer needs that is both cost effective and efficient 

Review, and adjust, if necessary, forecasts and demand influencers

Prepare reports in relation to planning processes and capacity planning forecasts

Process customer orders, ensuring there is sufficient stock availability 

Maintain demand planning reports and systems by assessing historical sales trends

Efficiently deal with customer and stock enquiries 

Liaise with other departments with regard to planning and introducing new products 

Conduct inventory strategies for existing and new products, as well as stock that is obsolete or slow-moving

Make enquiries for new and existing customers, following up quotations 

Qualifications & Skills

You will:

Have at least 2 years' experience within a demand planner or forecasting role within a fast-moving manufacturing environment

Have excellent organisational skills and be able to multitask 

Be analytical in nature with good mathematical background 

Be articulate with excellent communication skills

Have computer skills, particularly experience with MS office

Be of a confident and persuasive nature

Be able to work on own initiative
