Our client is a well-established Packaging Distribution business who are looking to appoint an External Sales Executive with the ability to build ongoing relationships with potential and existing customers selling a range of packaging products and services throughout the North of England.
The candidate will be required to play a crucial role within a well-regarded industrial packaging supply company. With the full breadth of the company's services and solutions within your remit, speaking with a wide range of decision makers, assessing their needs, with the end goal of generating new and developing existing revenue streams selling in-transit protective packaging products and end of line packaging machinery.
Identifying, qualifying and winning new business.
Maintaining existing accounts
Nurturing all prospects and converting quotations into orders
Working closely with the Internal Sales Dept to ensure a high level of customer service at all times
Effective use of Time Management to cover your geographical area cost effectively
Maintaining Call Reports and supplying market analysis
Skills & Experience
You must have Field sales experience within the Packaging industry
Strong new business development skills
Experience in corrugated, flexibles, tapes, films, packaging machinery etc
A fluent presenter and objection handler
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Target and results driven
A strong work ethic, good communication skills along with a desire to deliver results
