Our client is actively seeking to appoint a Field Based Service Engineer, covering Central South England
Provide breakdown & service cover within the range of machine strained & skilled on.
The ideal person
Time served engineer, multi-skilled in Mechanical & Electrical engineering, preferably Field-based and experience of working on his/her own independently or in a team environment. PLC knowledge an advantage, but not a necessity.
Must show confidence, and be able to interact with the Customer and to show willingness to progress and manage the job,whether it be a Service Call, Breakdown Call or visit together with Sales etc.
Experience of working in a high-pressure manufacturing environment, able to manage his/her own accounts and report directly to Service Manager about Customer on-going issues, history, updates etc.
Skilled in conducting training courses for both operators and engineers.
Skilled in dealing with customers.
