Cloud 9 are currently working with a highly respected and successful packaging manufacturer and distributor who are wishing to appoint an Internal Account Manager in the Midlands.  Your responsibilities will be to generate sales via upselling and cross-selling among your allocated customers, as well as new customers ensuring long-term relationships are formed and a first-class service provided that will in turn benefit the profitability of the company, and you!  Hybrid working is available if preferred and a competitive salary offered as detailed below.  Read on to see if this amazing opportunity is the right fit for you!

The Role
As Internal Account Manager your daily responsibility will involve selling the company's vast range of products and services, creating opportunities to cross-sell, providing quotes, processing orders and managing the customer experience.

Create sales among your assigned customers, to include upselling and cross-selling, keeping customer requirements and needs at the forefront of your mind
Build and maintain long-term relationships with your allocated clients
Provide quotes to clients on products and solutions 
Monthly and annually monitor customer spending, providing Managing Director and Area Sales Manager relevant forecasts
Source and identify new opportunities with existing clients
Ensure Service Level Agreements are met 
Manage and problem-solve NCRs to agreed time frame
Raise and resolve any finance queries appertaining to your role 
Ensure margin targets are met and produce development plans  
Manage contract pricing following the correct procedures  
Be your assigned customers main point of contact 
Process and manage client orders where necessary, ensuring they are production-ready

Skills and Qualifications
Working in a packaging environment an advantage but not necessary 
Good working knowledge of successful sales and services approaches
Be proactive and have a commercial mindset
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Thrive on providing excellent customer service
A positive, energetic and flexible attitude
Friendly disposition, professional and conscientious
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and a understanding of Order Management
An eye for detail and accuracy  
Ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
Exceptionally organised, able to prioritise workloads and plan ahead
Determined and results-driven with a can-do attitude

You will receive a basic salary of up to £35k with a good bonus structure
