We are working with a leading provider of Packaging solutions as they head into a growth period for their business and are keen to appoint an additional Internal Sales Executive to complement their existing internal sales team.  Based at their South East site our client is keen to meet with candidates who have experience within the Packaging & Containers arena.

Delivering competitive pricing and a high level of customer service to their customers our client takes pride and acknowledges the dedication of their staff as being paramount to the success of the business.  Working within their sales and customer service department:

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming calls
  • Identify, approach and secure new business
  • Providing quotations for customers and following these through
  • Managing orders and delivery to ensure customer orders are supplied on time
  • Building strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Managing customers and developing them to their full potential
  • Identify and cross selling to existing customers
  • Working closely with the external sales team and other departments
  • Meeting team and individual targets
  • Providing a high-level customer experience

 

Skills & Experience

We are keen to speak with people who have experience of working in a sales and customer service environment within any area of the Packaging industry, though if you feel you have the skills and experience required for this position; applications will be considered from other sectors.

 

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of managing customers in a sales/customer service role
  • Ability to build relationships with people at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Ability to quickly forge relationships with potential new customers
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and to think on your feet
  • Strong Numerical and Literacy skills

 

Remuneration

You will receive a salary of circa £18k-£25k (DOE), uncapped bonus, pension & 20 days holidays plus stats.
