Our client is a leading provider of a comprehensive range of Packaging products and Application Machinery based in the UK with a worldwide strong presence.
Due to continued investment and growth they are now looking to appoint a new Business Sales Executive to cover the Midlands region.
Role Purpose
A strong focus on new business development to align with our client’s growth plans you will be responsible for identifying, approaching and winning new business; selling innovative Packaging concepts and solutions to varied B2B industrial manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively prospecting to identify a strong pipeline of new business.
  • Building strong relationships with people at all levels.
  • Demonstrate and understand the value of our client’s products and service to prospective customers.
  • Continually update your product knowledge with new lines and seek out alternative solutions.
  • Identify customers needs and conduct a consultative approach to ensure successful outcome.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the entire Sales process.
  • Network with existing and new clients to cross sell, resourcefully utilising your network to deepen product and market knowledge.
  • Build collaborative internal relationships on product development, marketing, fulfilment and campaign management.
  • Meet and exceed all KPI’s and sales targets, managing your sales activity to achieve your sales target.
  • Ensure all existing and new customer activity is logged on our clients CRM system and conduct realistic forecasting.
  • Sharing successes and learning experiences and knowledge with your team members, creating a supportive and collaborative culture.
  • Conduct ongoing client, product and industry research to build a complete understanding for each prospect.

Skills & Experience

We are keen to speak with people who are highly motivated, resilient and have illustrated achievement in the new business development within an industrial Packaging environment.
You are a high calibre sale’s professional accustomed to delivering strong sales pitches, effectively managing objections and have strong closing skills.  Analytical and financially astute you are ethical, articulate and can deliver a solution-based sales approach.
A high level of business acumen, able to connect new business opportunities to customers based on trends in customer spending, budget, market and business drivers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key clients; being able to consult with senior level decision makers.


Attractive basic salary (Up to £40k) with uncapped commission structure.  28 Holidays (including bank holidays).  Company car, Pension Scheme and the opportunity for you to evolve your career within a fantastic company culture.
