Cloud 9 are excited to be working with a leading flexible packaging manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Regional Account Manager to develop a portfolio of large existing accounts to their full potential, identifying and generate new business. This position is weighted more towards account development. Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing, ensuring new and repeat business opportunities. 
Ensure agreed sales targets and budgets are met and all opportunities to maximise potential are satisfied.
Attend existing and potential customer sites, conducting presentations and negotiations to enhance or gain new business.
Build strong and trusted customer relationships.
Clearly communicate customer requirements to colleagues to ensure these are adhered to.
Ensure all issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
Lead account development and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Ensure all customer deadlines are met.
Be responsible for budgeting and forecasting.
Identify new product opportunities by keeping appraised of new market trends and competitor activity.
Keep in regular contact via all avenues providing relevant product, sales and marketing information. 
Provide regular feedback reports as and when requested.
Be a supportive and communicative team player.
Comply with and maintain all company health and safety regulations, company practices and standards and report any deviations. 
Undertake any additional duties as and when may be required.

 

The Person

Experience working within the Printed Flexible packaging industry, at degree level or equivalent preferred but not essential.
Ability to demonstrate a successful record of major account management.
Commercially astute.
An understanding of production processes and sales performance metrics.                              
Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
Customer focused.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Professional presentation and manner.
Confident and assertive.
Recognise importance of confidentiality.
Flexible.
Results driven and self-motivated.
Proficient IT skills; Microsoft Office, CRM software.
