Cloud 9 are excited to be working with a global packaging company within the flexibles sector who are looking to add to their successful sales team by the appointment of a Regional Account Manager in the North of England. You will be responsible for identifying and winning new business and developing a portfolio of well-established existing accounts, providing a high level of customer service at all times and meeting and exceeding monthly targets!  You will be joining an award-winning company that actively encourages professional development and personal growth.  For more information, please see below:

Key Responsibilities
To source and bring in new business opportunities.
To build on an existing customer base, developing this to its full potential, this will include several large key accounts.
To provide a high level of customer service ensuring repeat business into the company.
To attend new and potential customers which will include travel and overnight stays.
To present and promote the company's extensive range of products and services with a view to soliciting orders.  Be an ambassador for the customer by setting the company apart from the rest.
To coordinate required items for customer orders by liaising with operational teams and internal support.
To work closely with manufacturing teams and product development to develop new products meeting customer requirements.
To work closely with customer service reps ensuring orders are processed correctly with the right prices on orders and a high level of customer service is provided.
To work with customers managing inventory, based on negotiated targets.
To build strong and trusted relationships at all levels.
To investigate and resolve any issues, complaints, and queries in an efficient and effective manner.
To prepare annual and monthly forecasts and budgets and keeping company databases and software updated with such documentation.
To uphold a positive and appropriate attitude in all communications and dealings with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

The Person
Ability to demonstrate a successful business development background, with a background of selling extruded polythene films.
Ability to demonstrate excellent negotiation and closing skills.
A Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent (5 years' experience/training) in a similar field, ideally but not essential.
Excellent working knowledge of sales processes/related manufacturing.
Excellent at maintaining and negotiating major customer contracts.
Excellent knowledge and experience of CRM and Microsoft; Work, Power Point Excel, Outlook etc.
Confident at developing and maintaining strong and trusted relationships and making a great first impressions. 
Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
Self-disciplined and organised.
Self-motivated and results driven. 
Full clean UK Driving Licence. 

Remuneration
You will receive a highly competitive salary depending on experience, plus an attractive commission and car allowance.
