Our client is a leading manufacturer of Flexible packaging solutions, due to continued growth and investment they are now looking to appoint an experienced Regional Sales Executive to cover UK Northern region.


The Role


Reporting to the Sales Director you will me responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of customers and developing new business opportunities in the North of England.  Selling a comprehensive range of Flexible packaging products into end users and maximising sales opportunities in this region; working closely with the Sales Department you will be fully supported internally for you to succeed. 


Key Duties


  • Managing and further developing the existing accounts
  • Reviewing and approaching lapse accounts
  • Establishing key users and developing new business
  • Schedule appointments and visits as required effectively
  • Gather market information
  • Follow up during trial periods and close sales opportunities
  • Sales reporting including visit reports and sales projections
  • Hitting and exceed sales targets
  • Effective time management to ensure maximum output
  • Providing technical advice to existing and new clients


Key Attributes & Experience


You must have experience of selling Flexible Packaging in a field sales position and be based in the North of England. 


  • Ability to Negotiate at all levels
  • Consultative seller
  • Have a flair of developing relationships naturally and quickly with people at all levels
  • High customer service skills
  • A field sales/service background particularly with previous success in new business development within the Packaging industry
  • IT literate (MS Office)
  • Persuasive communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experienced in both new business development and account management.
  • Positive outlook
  • Ambitious and keen to join a successful organisation long term
  • Work well both independently and within a supportive team environment







You will receive a high basic salary in line with your experience, plus commission car etc
