Cloud 9 are working with a successful and unique flexible packaging manufacturer who are looking to expand further by the appointment of a Regional Sales Executive. Based in the South, and with support, you will help to maximise sales growth within the company by sourcing and developing new opportunities and accounts, this could include some national accounts, and managing some existing accounts.  We are looking for someone with 5 years successful sales experience, preferably within the packaging sector, who has exceptional sales, closing and negotiation skills.  The financial rewards run into 6 figures for results-driven individuals with a high-end commission structure on all sales made!  Could this be you?  Read on below to find more about the role and the skillset required:

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for delivering new business opportunities, participating in all cross-selling opportunities in the South.  You will be provided with a comprehensive list of leads to work with and your core focus will be securing new business opportunities and developing these to their full potential.  You will have extensive product training in order for you to be successful in your position.

Proactively source and develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships to identify prospective customers' requirements
Manage and maintain existing accounts to ensure repeat business through calls, visits and reviews, resolving any issues that may arise
Keep an eye on market trends, new products, prices and competitors 
Take part in events for the purpose of networking 
Improve and maintain plans to achieve targets and maximise profits
Manage and implement contract negotiations, overseeing product quality and service issues

Skills & Experience
Proven 5 years record of successful sales experience, ideally within any area of the Packaging industry
New Business Development and Business experience
Superior negotiation skills, naturally confident
Excellent communication skills
Results-driven with a hunger to succeed
Be analytical and financially aware
Good decision-maker and problem-solver
Computer literate and quick to learn
