Our client is a leading specialist packaging distribution and manufacturing group who supply a diverse range of packaging products and supply solutions to a wide range of customer markets. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Sales person to complement their successful sales team.
To develop new business in the North West region of England.
To manage a small portfolio of accounts and further develop these.
Reporting to the Sales Manager your main responsibilities will include:
o Maximising sales and providing value added packaging solutions to existing Accounts
o Sourcing new business opportunities promoting their Supply Chain Management capabilities
o Selling to a wide range of sectors including; food & drink, pharmaceutical, distribution, industrial, aerospace, automotive & engineering
o Achieving sales targets on a monthly and annual basis at profit levels acceptable to the company
o Working closely with the existing team on the long term development of the company's sales strategy
o Negotiating pricing levels and implementing/presenting/winning new tenders.
Applications are invited from candidates who have a proven track record of selling Packaging Products in a field sales role.
It is essential that candidates have worked for a packaging distribution company previously and have experience in selling the following products; corrugated cases, cartons, bubble wrap, flexible packaging, tapes, strapping, protective foams and packaging machinery.

You will receive a basic salary of between £30k-£35k (negotiable depending on your experience); along with an excellent commission scheme, involving monthly, quarterly, and Annual bonuses, company car and other benefits package associated with a role of this calibre.
