We are looking for a confident individual with the ability to build ongoing relationships with potential and existing customers and sell a specific range of products and services for our Packaging merchant client based in Lancashire.  Confidence in handling a technical sales process is imperative.

The successful candidate will be required to play a crucial role within a well-regarded industrial packaging supply company.  With the full breadth of the company’s services and solutions within your remit, you will be presented with a perfect opportunity to speak with a wide range of decision makers, assessing their needs, with the end goal of generating new and developing existing revenue streams.

Well established, family run business, this is a company whose mission is to provide the complete package of globally recognised products and solutions that will protect the customer’s brand.  This specific role will be required to focus on selling our Load Stability range of products which include pallet wrap, pallet wrapping machinery and related accessories.  You will be based at the office but required to travel throughout the North of England and also wider afield in the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working closely within the Load Stability sales team to support the sales function
  • Visiting clients to carry out the review of the pallet wrapping operation
  • Demonstrating and testing our products at the client’s site
  • Preparing a report to demonstrate the benefits
  • Maintaining existing accounts to avoid sales leakage by making ongoing visits
  • Ensuring your diary is maintained
  • Making telephone calls in relation to the above as required
  • Making marketing telephone calls to potential accounts

To be considered for this role you will be expected to be:

  • Enthusiastic and diligent
  • Confident, polite, and well able to build good customer rapport
  • A fluent presenter and objection handler, focusing particularly on customer needs and highlighting benefits the customer may never have thought of!
  • Ability to present over Zoom or equivalent as required
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Conversant with IT and CRM systems
  • Target and results driven
  • Accurate, fast and methodical in recording information

 

Remuneration

£40k+ basic salary + company car + Company Bonus
