Our Client within the Packaging Machinery industry are looking to add to their sales team with an experienced Sales Manager who will be accountable for the sales of products and services to both the UK and overseas accounts.
This role will require the coordination and development of UK, Eire & Export Markets, building on existing and developing new accounts and expanding into new territories. This will be achieved by means of both identifying the customer's requirements and aligning the business offerings to these opportunities with the ultimate aim of securing new business, improving customer satisfaction and ensuring ongoing, profitable growth within this sector.
Meeting / Exceeding financial sales target Implementation of necessary activities in order to maintain and develop existing customers/OEMS/Distributors
Ensure that sales achieve an acceptable level of margin.
Preparing and working to budgets
Regular and consistent use of CRM system to provide regular reporting and update of account activity.
Establish solid working relationships with key account representatives
Provide an efficient and friendly service of customer care through the prompt and professional handling of complaints and enquiries
Identification and prioritisation of New sales opportunities with Blue chip accounts working at a strategic level.
Flexibility and the ability to respond well to change and pressure
Ability to positively influence and build effective relationships
A personable approach with a good telephone and communication skills
Strong planning and organisation skills
A meticulous approach and a high level of accuracy, demonstrating strong attention to detail
Leadership skills and self motivation
Food / Packaging industry understanding (Essential)
