Cloud 9 are working on a fantastic opportunity with one of the UK's leading industrial packaging companies who are looking to appoint an Sales Manager to manage a portfolio of well established accounts in the West Midlands. In your new role you will be the main point of contact for all customer account related matters and for generating and developing new business. The perfect candidate will have a good working knowledge of successful sales and services approaches and confident in developing relationships with customers. You will be managing a customer base with a current turn over of circa £5m PA.
Main Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts; requirements, costs, and sales orders, collaborating and working with relevant departments.
Deal with customer queries/issues in a professional manner ensuring expectations are met.
Maintain a high level of customer service, meeting the demands and requirements of customers and continuously striving to improve a high level of customer service.
Develop, maintain and improve existing and new customer relations.
Collaborate with sales team to create new business opportunities ensuring the smooth running of all accounts.
Ensure maximised and repeated by promoting company products and services.
Provide regular feedback reports regarding performance issues or cost variations.
Identify where improvements can be made on products, services, customer base.
Liaise directly with design to ensure efficiency in sample and quotation production.
Strive to maximise profit by identifying areas of improvement in the design and products.
Be Health & Safety conscious and attend training when required.
Remuneration
You will receive a basic salary circa £40k-£50k (DOE), bonus/commission structure, Car Allowance or Company Car.
