Sales Representative

Cloud 9 are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join a well-respected and dynamic sustainable packaging solutions company.  Based in the Northwest you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing accounts generating circa £3 million pa, as well as looking for new business opportunities.  We are eager to hear from results driven, customer focused sales professionals, preferably with corrugated experience, as well as candidates who are looking for the next step into a sale role!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and act as primary contact for major accounts.
• Identify and bring new business into the company.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Generate new leads through networking, research and cold calling.
• Ascertain and meet potential customer requirements, discussing tailored packaging solutions.
• Support timely service and deliveries through communicating with internal teams.
• Boost retention and growth by implementing strategies and monitoring account performance.
• Prepare proposals and presentations and negotiate contracts to close deals and achieve sales targets.
• Research and identify market trends and competitor activity to measure the demand for possible new products. 
• Attend events, promotions and trade shows with a view to building networks and promoting company products.
• Monitor and update CRM systems, providing reports on sales pipeline and accurate forecasts.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable sales experience within the packaging industry, corrugated is desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of corrugated materials, design and production procedures.
• Proven account management experience, ability to manage accounts.
• Ability to demonstrate successful history of targeting and winning new business.
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging solutions.
• Excellent communication skills on all levels externally and internally.
• Natural at building strong relationships.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Target-driven and focused with a strong desire to succeed.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Team player.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.

Remuneration
You will receive a salary of between £35k-£50k DOE, company car etc.
