Role Overview:
As a Structural CAD Designer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming design briefs into inventive and manufacturable packaging solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Design Creation: Deciphering design briefs to create innovative packaging designs using the client's CAD/CAM system.
Sample Quality: Delivering high-quality samples for approval and presentation, and attending customer meetings as required.
Team Collaboration: Working as part of a team to support design colleagues, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Quality Assurance: Following quality standards and procedures throughout the production process.
Production Coordination: Collaborating with the Production and Customer Service departments to order tooling for production readiness.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring the maintenance of equipment to the highest standards.
Ongoing Training: Participating in training sessions within your section as needed.

Skills and Experience Required:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in structural packaging and CAD.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems.
Experience using Impact or a similar program Kasemake or Artios would be preferred.
A driving license would be required for customer visits.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively.
A proactive approach and the ability to take responsibility for your work.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Remuneration
You will receive a salary of £35k to £40K DOE.
