Our client are a leading provider of Packaging Machinery and they are looking to add to their team by appointing a Trainee Regional Sales Manager. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are looking for a career in a Field Sales position.
Will initially be based internally where you will receive structured Training & Development to ensure you are successful within your role. It is expected that between 6 & 12 months you will the progress into a full Field Sales position.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, engaging, passionate individual to join their team whose role, ultimately will have a significant impact in growing their customer base, whilst managing existing relationships.
Selling a range of, end of production line machinery from a Global Manufacturer direct to Business users.
This role would suit somebody from maybe a telesales background looking to move into field sales position; who has an engineering qualification and/or experience, or perhaps someone with a social media background that would relish the chance to use that skill in a commercial arena, with the opportunity of quick progression.
Job progression would mean starting from an office-based role and familiarising yourself with our client’s equipment, processes and customers. This would lead to moving into a supported role in the field with a view to taking over a territory when ready.
Contact customers to ensure information is up to date to include, contacts / machines on site / consumables contact / any projects / any other sites
Maintain Existing Customer Database, confirming information on contracts, machinery, consumables and any ongoing or new projects
Contact all customers to review above data on a 6-monthly basis
Obtain and follow through leads via website / telephone enquiries
Trade show visits
Planning information (new factory builds etc)
Using above information, obtain complete company details and enter into new database
Where possible find potential for new sales / qualify lead
Send weekly / monthly reports to salesmen with potential new leads
Create & distribute marketing
Liaise with sales team
Create agreed marketing campaign (quarterly / monthly, to be confirmed)
Collate information on leads received
Contact any bounce-backs for correction of information
Complete and send machinery quotations for GW/PC
Training & Development
In house administration, quotations, database etc
In house machinery
On site customer visits & sales
Starting Basic of circa £20k-£22k
6-12 months Circa £6k-£10k which will increase as experience is gained, with uncapped commission, along with a Company car, laptop, healthcare & phone
