Cloud 9 are currently working exclusively on an incredible high-level sales opportunity for a National Account Manager to join one of the major players in the printed packaging industry! This is a customer facing, field-based role where your main focus will be to manage a well-established portfolio of existing customers develop sales and develop new business within the Chilled Food, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics sectors. We are looking forward to speaking with candidates with at least 3 years proven sales experience, added value solution selling experience and be willing to travel nationally.
Key Responsibilities
Using the value selling process manage a portfolio of key accounts.
Maintain strong trusted relationships at all levels, ensuring customer requirements are met and be the first point of contact for any queries, improvements, and solutions.
Manage a portfolio of customers typically in the Beer, Wine, Spirits & sports nutrition sectors.
Meet with potential customers, developing new business opportunities in line with company budgets and margins.
Be proactive in developing and maintaining sales pipeline for growing new business in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Chilled Food sectors.
Keep CRM accurately updated at all times.
Assist in the development of digital packaging.
Be the lead for design briefs, account management and project management, all queries of a technical and solution-based nature.
By accurately interpreting design briefs and customer requirements you will liaise the same precisely to design and customer service teams, and support/manage projects through internal depts.
Use market research, intelligent insight and customer contacts to exceed customer expectations and promote new sales opportunities.
Attend progress meetings and provide accurate sales reports on time.
Experience Required
At least 3 years proven sales experience, preferably in a printed packaging environment but not essential.
Solution sales experience adding value to company's business and their customers.
Ability to arrange meetings and manage own diary.
Good understanding of packaging market dynamics.
Ability to coordinate projects, providing excellent communication with internal team and customers.
Pro-active, self-motivated and a desire for success.
Accountable, strong decision-maker and problem-solver.
Ability to prepare customer facing documentation.
Excellent work ethic, conscientious, has a sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills with people at all levels, presents a good first impression.
