The Role

The role is designed to enhance customer satisfaction, bolster customer retention, and drive profitability by fortifying the technical service and support team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site service installation and training to customers across the UK. Additionally, you will assist in technical service tasks such as breakdown repair and routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery at customer sites.
Provide exceptional service and support to customers.
Processing and recording accurately all support incidents.
Gathering customer information and diagnosing issues by evaluating and analysing symptoms.
Collaborating with the technical team and sharing information.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
Adhere to company standard processes and procedures.
Identifying and escalating priority issues as per customer specifications.

Skills and Qualifications

At least 3 years in a field service role within the packaging industry.

HNC/ONC Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient in installing, testing, and repairing electronic service equipment.

Background in training.
Motivated to deliver first class customer service.

Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.

Multitasker who works well under pressure.

Flexible and adaptable.
Full valid UK driving licence.

Remuneration

You will receive a salary of up to £40k DOE together with company vehicle, mobile and overtime opportunities.  You will also benefit from the company’s incentive and benefit schemes.
