Cloud 9 is seeking a first-class Field Service Engineer ideally based in the South West to join a leading innovator in Strapping Solutions. This is a national role and we are eager to hear from candidates that are technically and commercially astute with an electrical and mechanical background.

Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance: Minimise downtime and optimise machine performance.
Customer Support: Provide excellent service, to ensure customers are supported and machines operate efficiently.
Installation and Commissioning: Assist from time to time with the installation and commissioning of machine.
Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Develop into diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
Organisational Excellence: Maintain a tidy car stock.
Detailed Reporting: Create thorough service reports, communicating effectively with the service planning team.
Commercial Awareness: Understand how your work supports the broader goals of the business, identifying opportunities to upsell products or services.
Training and Progression: Actively participate in on-site training programs.
Skills and Attributes
Technical Qualifications: A known apprenticeship in electrical and mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification is desirable.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, confident in engaging with customers and colleagues.
Independence: Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office software; experience in SAP/Siemens S7/WinCC Flex/17th Edition is advantageous, although training is provided.
Manual Dexterity: Proactive approach to manual heavy lifting tasks.
Commercial Insight: Strong observational skills and commercial awareness, identifying opportunities to benefit the business.
Resilience: Adapt and problem-solve when challenges arise.
Professionalism: Punctual, disciplined with a strong work ethic.
FLT Licence: You hold a FLT Licence or are willing to obtain one (training will be provided).
