Key Responsibilities
Enhance and expand a portfolio of existing customers by improving efficiencies and value engineering.
Visiting customers continually developing relationships to seek out further opportunities.
Review service levels, quotations, new specifications and progress of ongoing projects.
Completion of visit reports and actions agreed.
Provide a high value service and quality level for all accounts.
Report and be aware of market trends plus competitor and customer activities.
Maintain a strong pipeline of potential sales opportunities to sustain manufacturing output.
Understand our clients manufacturing processes to filter enquiries based on the strength of their operation
Work positively and productively with internal departments to ensure excellent service quality.
Demonstrate a commitment to the our clients values.
Proactively understand and participate in business improvement activities with the customer.
Appreciate the nature of high-volume sales of packaging materials.
Utilise sound technical product knowledge and understanding to provide a value-added relationship for the customer.
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role is essential.
Experience managing key or high-value accounts is also essential.
Experience in a paper-based manufacturing environment, is preferred. However, candidates from the distribution sector will also be considered.
Demonstrate excellent business acumen and a strong drive for sales.
Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse eloquently at all levels.
Be self-driven and ambitious, with a genuine hunger for success.
A valid UK driving licence is required.
