Cloud 9 is seeking a talented Packaging Designer to join their dynamic Design Team in the Southwest. The Role
Primarily a structural design role, this position allows you to harness your skills in both 2D and 3D design, transforming client briefs into successful production-ready solutions. The role is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy the challenge of taking projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with colleagues, customers and suppliers to develop customer approved solutions meeting their needs and requirements.
Manage enquiries and samples competently ensuring timely delivery, from initial concept through to completion.
Maintain clear communication between sales and operational teams.
Ensure all information provided to the factory aligns with customer requirements.
Produce accurate CAD designs and drawings for packaging solutions.
Create samples for customer to assess and approve.
Operate the selected design system and business software effectively.
Generate conceptual artwork, 3D visuals, and mock-up samples.

Skills and Experience
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the Packaging Industry.
Design Engineering experience (a graduate designer will be considered).
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Graphic design experience would be beneficial.
Ideally proficient in CAD; Artios or Kasemake, Adobe Suite, Excel etc.
Good knowledge of factory manufacturing processes and abilities.
Proven record of delivering results consistently and taking responsibility.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Team player.
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
Excellent product knowledge and an understanding of processes from concept through to production.
A confidence and ability to challenge new and existing designs.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Flexible.
