The Role
As a Print Estimator, you will be at the heart of the company's operations, developing a comprehensive understanding of their products, services, and industry knowledge. This role is pivotal in ensuring that estimating procedures are optimised to maximise profit margins while meeting and exceeding customer expectations in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and process incoming quotation requests
Produce precise and consistent quotations for delivery to the appropriate persons within specified timeframes
Coordinate with account managers and the sales team to gather project specifics and resolve any quotation inquiries
Leverage business software to generate accurate estimates and quotations
Propose innovative strategies for cost reduction
Partner with leadership to uncover opportunities for margin enhancement
Continually assess and refine estimating procedures
Communicate regular updates and feedback to the management team
Aid in training new team members on the estimating process, ensuring the effective transfer of critical knowledge and maintaining high standards

Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an estimating role within a fast-paced environment
Experience in print estimating is advantageous
Good understanding of the print manufacturing process
Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach
Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and remain calm under pressure.

Remuneration:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from £30k to £35k, depending on experience.
