Regional Business Development Manager

The role is predominantly new business focussed, alongside managing existing accounts. Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will identify, win, and develop new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships to sustain new business development.
Assist in managing final commercial and contract negotiations.
Actively participate in sales meetings and provide regular sales reports.
Lead and implement induction training while participating in your own ongoing training programme.
Keep appraised of market trends, pricing, and competition to meet the needs of potential customers.
Adhere to company regulations and procedures.

Skills and Experience 
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the packaging industry.
Experience selling into FMCG is advantageous.
At least 2 years managing sales teams or national accounts.
Knowledge of corrugated packaging or products is beneficial.
Proven success in acquiring and maintaining new business.
Key Account Management experience.
Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Strong team and people management skills.
Experience in training and developing team members.
Ability to organise and manage projects effectively.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Computer literate with an innovative and creative mindset.
Ambitious and driven, with a desire to make a significant impact in the industry.

Remuneration
