Role Overview
This national role encompasses the entire UK, with occasional international travel (one day a month). The position is evenly split between Account Management and New Business Development, focusing on complex and bespoke solutions with an average sales cycle of 6-12 months. Working autonomously, the role involves close collaboration with the UK Managing Director and benefits from robust marketing and business support from the Head Office. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy for the UK market.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be based anywhere in the UK with convenient access to motorway links. A minimum qualification of HND is preferred, though substantial experience in an engineering role will also be considered. A solid background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering is essential. Experience in client-facing roles dealing with complex and bespoke packaging machinery or automation systems is crucial, particularly within the Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Medical, and Contract Packaging sectors. Strong communication skills are a must, enabling you to translate intricate engineering details into practical, end-user solutions.
